Getting around Amsterdam
By bike
The most efficient way of transportation is by bike, like the locals. Bike rental company
MacBike offer a 25% discount for Sonic Acts visitors, simply show your ticket at their rental desk. They have several shops in town, one of which is right next to Paradiso – the festival’s conference location.

Public transportation
For travelling by public transportation you will need an OV-chip card. With this card you must check-in and check-out when boarding or disembarking from a tram, bus, or metro. You can purchase a disposable card for one hour (€2,70), for a single day (€7,50) or for multiple days (4 days for €21). One hour and single day cards can be purchased with the driver / conductor in the bus, metro and tram. For all information on public transport in Amsterdam visit the
