Reza Negarestani

Reza Negarestani (IR) is a philosopher and writer associated with the philosophical movement of speculative realism and known for pioneering the genre of ‘theory-fiction’ with his book Cyclonopedia (2008), listed in Artforum as one of the best books of 2009. Negarestani has regular contributed to the journal Collapse. In 2012, Negarestani collaborated with Florian Hecker on Chimerization, which was included in the dOCUMENTA13. Negarestani is currently lecturing and writing about rationalist universalism.
