Jacaszek and Kwartludium

Instrumental and voice improvisations by the Kwartludium ensemble are set against an organic drone of outdoor recordings by Jacaszek, resulting in subdued and sparse electroacoustic soundscapes. The piano, clarinets, violin and percussion parts are performed by the Kwartludium ensemble, and are electronically processed into a collection of eight soundscapes. Jacaszek calls them ‘forgotten songs performed secretly by my beloved trees’. Pedro Maia provides ghostly visuals. Supported by culture.pl Adam Mickiewicz Institute
