Rod Maclachlan
Rod Maclachlan
Rod Maclachlan (UK) is Bristol based visual artist working with light and movement in conjunction with objects and architecture. This combining of media reflects a preoccupation with the complementary relationships between mind and body, perception and imagination, the physical and the ethereal. Maclachlan’s approach to visuals for music is one of improvisation, retaining a sense of immediacy and sensitivity to the flow of the piece by creating visual elements live. Recent exhibitions include Disappearance, Enclave gallery, London and Life’s An Illusion Love Is A Dream, Liverpool Royal Standard. His installation works have been experienced at AV Social, Tate Britain, London, One-on-One Festival, Battersea Arts Centre, London and Inbetween Time Festival, Arnolfini, Bristol. rodmaclachlan.co.uk Video Aftertime – with Roly Porter & Cynthia Millar
