Minor Science (UK) is the stage name of the house and techno musician Angus Finlayson. Noble Gas, Minor Science’ first release – a five-track EP on Trilogy Tapes (2014) – is an accomplished production, distilling and skewing elements of American and European house ‘to the left of the floor’. Besides his house presence as Minor Science, Finlayson is also a well-respected writer at Fact mag, Resident Advisor and the Quietus, and producer of dancefloor music under the alias Second Line.
