The Kwartludium ensemble (PL) was formed in 2002 by Dagna Sadkowska (violin), Michał Górczyński (clarinet, bass clarinet), Paweł Nowicki (percussion) and Piotr Nowicki (piano). Kwartludium performs works by young composers in Poland and abroad, as well as graphic and intuitive compositions by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Carl Bergstroem-Nielsen, Cornelius Cardew, Roman Haubenstock-Ramati and Dubravko Detoni. Kwartludium has performed at numerous festivals, including Unsound in New York, Ensemble Europa in Cologne, C3 in Berlin, and Loop Festival in Brussels; since 2012 they have been involved in the New Music: New Audiences project.
