Mario de Vega
Mario de Vega (MX) is a sound artist best known for his site-specific interventions, sculptures and sound improvisations. In the context of music, his practice explores the value of fragility and indetermination. De Vega also explores the perceptive capacities and incapacities of humans, such as the limits of aural perception and the transposition of high and low frequencies into audible sounds. In his work, de Vega leaves space for the unknown, the uncanny, the unseen, the unheard and the unpredictable. De Vega lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City.
