krysning/пересечение/conflux - Signe Lidén
БAM/BAM Nikel: Garage 18-A-7
During her field trips in the surroundings of Kirkenes and Nikel, Signe Lidén ‘sound-measured’ the border-zone. She walked across pastures, mountains as well as manmade landscapes, military zones, harbours, mining areas and settlements, determining her route by shooting an arrow. By applying this unorthodox research method – a bow and arrow with recording devices and a weather balloon with a camera, she explored the coincidental in the ‘points of references’ on which knowledge systems and worldviews are based. The resulting work is a performance of 30 minutes. There are 3 performances in Nikel on Saturday 11 October, at 11:00, 11:45 and 12:30; each can host an audience of about 30.
