Rosa Menkman

Rosa Menkman (NL) is an artist and theorist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She has been facilitating the Critical Writing Workshops taking place parallel to the festival since 2013 and is part of the Sonic curatorial team. Since 2007 Menkman has been writing for multiple platforms, amongst which Sonic Acts. In 2011 Menkman wrote the Glitch Moment/um, a book on the exploitation and popularization of glitch arti-facts (published by the Institute of Network Cultures), co-facilitated the GLI.TC/H festivals in both Chicago and Amsterdam and curated the Aesthetics symposium of Transmediale 2012.
