Linn da Quebrada (Brazil) is a Brazilian multimedia artist who uses music as a medium to fight for the breakdown of sexual, gender and body paradigms. Her first single, Enviadescer, made noise due to its direct lyrics and a music video that openly displays transvestites and feminized bodies. Other songs like Talento and Bixa Preta promote sexual tolerance as their main concept. In 2017, the artist launched blasFêmea, her first audiovisual experiment. In 2018, filmmakers Kiko Goifman and Claudia Priscilla made a documentary about Linn, Bixa Travesty (Tranny Fag), which will premiere at this year’s Berlinale.
