Jacaszek

Jacaszek and Kwartludium

Jacaszek (PL) lives in Gdansk and is a composer and producer of electroacoustic music, with a primary focus on theatre and film music. Jacaszek was awarded the Grand Prix at the Dwa Teatry Festival for his music for the play Golgota Wrocławska,directed by Jan Komasa. His most recent work is the soundtrack for Sala samobojcow (‘Suicide’s Room’) by Jan Komasa. Jacaszek is a co-curator of C3 Festival – Club Contemporary Classical, and a member of the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music.

Jacaszek & Kwartludium: 'Catalogue des Arbres'

Instrumental and voice improvisations by the Kwartludium ensemble are set against an organic drone of outdoor recordings by Jacaszek, resulting in subdued and sparse electroacoustic soundscapes.
